Building on the success of our 2025 Partner For Impact campaign, Ecraid is proud to launch the 2026 edition, showcasing the strength of our network and the expertise that drives our impact.
Infectious diseases (ID) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) continue to pose major challenges to global health, requiring strong scientific collaboration, trusted expertise, and coordinated action. While research studies generate the evidence needed to improve patient care, their success ultimately depends on the people who design, lead and deliver them.
While last year's campaign highlighted Ecraid's infrastructure, innovative trial designs, and operational capabilities, this year's campaign shifts the spotlight to something equally important: the experts behind the impact.
A Connected Scientific Community
Ecraid is more than a research network. It is a connected ecosystem of scientific expertise, clinical leadership, and collaboration spanning Europe.
Drawing on its extensive network of researchers, clinicians, key opinion leaders (KOLs), institutions, and specialist research groups, Ecraid connects the knowledge and experience needed to address some of the most pressing challenges in infectious diseases and AMR.
This breadth of expertise enables Ecraid to support high-quality research, provide strategic scientific guidance, and foster collaborations that accelerate innovation across the infectious disease landscape.

At the heart of the 2026 campaign is a new series of interviews "Meet the Experts Behind the Impact”, where we shine a light on some of the experts, networks, and scientific leaders who contribute to Ecraid's work. Together, their expertise helps shape research priorities, strengthen collaborations, support the delivery of studies, and generate evidence that can ultimately improve patient outcomes.
By sharing their insights, we highlight that impactful research is more than infrastructure and processes, but also about the people whose knowledge, experience, and commitment bring collaboration to life.
Monthly Focus: Key Global Health Priorities
Each month, the campaign will focus on a strategic topic aligned with global health priorities, awareness initiatives, and key scientific events.
These themes will showcase how Ecraid's network advances research in areas such as:
- Pandemic preparedness
- Respiratory diseases research
- Intensive care research
- Vaccination research
- Antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
