Would you like to play an important role in the local coordination and implementation of (inter)national research projects? We are looking for an experienced research nurse who'd like to contribute to cooperate in an enthusiastic team striving to find the best treatment(s) for patients.

You independently perform various clinical research activities, maintain oversight and ensure colleagues are and remain fully trained. You work according to the applicable laws and regulations of which you are well aware.

For research, you have an important role in the planning, execution and completion of clinical scientific research in collaboration with physician-researchers and other disciplines such as the pharmacy and clinical diagnostics laboratory. Initially, you are going to work on a remote research project with Long COVID patients. You will work in a team with physician-researchers, project assistants and specialists within the department.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

•    A bachelor's degree or higher professional level nursing and are BIG-registered.
•    Demonstrable experience with clinical scientific research and the coordination of clinical research projects.
•    Familiar with applicable laws and regulations or you are willing to learn this.
•    You keep an overview, have a structured and accurate working attitude.
•    In case of problems, you consult with colleagues and take initiative to solve them.
•    Good computer skills and dexterity in software applications. You are experience in working with Office 365.
•    You can express yourself clearly in both Dutch and English.

Next to this, you like to work on several investigations at the same time and work with different colleagues. You thrive in an (inter)national and fast-changing environment and are quick to understand various research designs.

What we offer

We offer a challenging and meaningful job in a purpose-driven work environment. Based in Utrecht, you will work with intelligent, collaborative, friendly and enthusiastic colleagues within a close team. We start with an introduction program where you will get to know all aspects of the work, Ecraid, your colleagues and research. After that, you will quickly start working independently and we will continue to guide you in our multidisciplinary environment. This position is offered on a temporary one-year employment contract with potential for extension.
