Vacancy: Senior Clinical Trial Project Manager
Are you passionate about conducting clinical research on a European scale? We are looking for an excellent Senior Project Manager to take on a leading role in one of our clinical trials.
At Ecraid, we are committed to advancing clinical research in the field of infectious diseases by establishing a long-term, financially self-sustainable, clinical research network in Europe. Our mission is to join forces and collaborate to efficiently deliver high impact studies. Headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Ecraid is the first network of its kind in Europe to offer a single point of access to a pan-European clinical research network for infectious diseases that spans over 1,200 clinical sites and 900 laboratories across 42 countries.
Your role
As Senior Project Manager (Sr PM) you are responsible for the planning, preparation, execution and closure of complex clinical trials within ICH/GCP guidelines and the applicable law and regulations. For most future trials, Ecraid will act as a sponsor and you are fully aware of the ICH GCP sponsor requirements you must adhere to. As a Sr PM, you will maintain (sponsor) oversight at all times and lead a study team comprised of junior project managers, data managers and clinical trial administrators. In addition, you will be responsible for managing key stakeholders and report directly to the Head of Operations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- At least six years of experience in international project management within a CRO, academic centre or pharmaceutical company
- Solid knowledge on ICH GCP and applicable law and regulations
- A broad experience in overseeing the various phases throughout the clinical trial lifecycle
- Leading a study team of five team members
- Great communication skills
- Audit and/or health authority inspection experience are advantageous

This position is offered on a temporary one-year employment contract with potential for extension. We offer a monthly gross salary of between €5,459 and €7,335 that commensurate with experience and based on a full-time 36-hour workweek.
