Training Modules on Adaptive Clinical Trial Designs
Module 3: Group sequential designs and sample size re-estimation
This series of six modules introduces the future of clinical trials. Adaptive trial designs offer a compelling new way of doing clinical research where trial parameters can be modified during the trial to respond to emerging research findings.
Module 1 and 2 are now available!

Better methods for clinical studies in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology
Taking place for the third consecutive year, this workshop aims to provide the participants with tools on how to phrase a research question, choose the appropriate design and methods to address it, avoid biases, and write an optimal report. The speakers will focus on new developments in methods, with a special emphasis on clinical trials, and use the participants’ projects as examples.

Dangerous Goods Training (DGT)
An essential part of clinical research is collecting body samples and shipping them to central research laboratories. As per regulations, at least one person per laboratory should be IATA/ICAO-certified.
Ecraid recommends following this online training module provided by Mayo Clinic Laboratories to ensure that the shipment of collected samples occurs safely and in compliance with all regulations.
Upon completion of this course, participants are eligible to take an online self-assessment quiz to obtain a "Dangerous Goods Shipping" training completion certificate. Taking the quiz requires a free Mayo Clinic account.
Please note that Ecraid and ECRAID-Base are not affiliated with this course or Mayo Clinic Laboratories.
